Our Story
After 15 years of working with start-up to growth-stage companies as a total rewards leader and advisor, Carrie started Impactful Rewards with the mission of empowering clients in crafting practical, strategic, and customized compensation and rewards programs that not only bolster their businesses, but also make a tangible impact on their employees' well-being.
Our subject matter expertise covers a wide range, including broad-based compensation, incentive plan design, equity program design, executive compensation (for both public and private companies), organization transitions, sales compensation, training, health and welfare benefits, wellness and perk programs, recognition, and more. We truly enjoy helping organizations build foundational rewards programs, and we love coming up with creative solutions to help businesses solve their unique rewards needs or aspirations as they grow.
At Impactful Rewards Consulting, we primarily deliver specialized assistance to private and public start-up and growth-stage companies. Meet Carrie
Carrie Tassin
Carrie has over 15 years of experience in total rewards and people operations. Her journey into the field began after graduating from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations with a focus on Human Resources Management, where her fondness for spreadsheets and numbers guided her toward a career in compensation. Seeking to enhance her expertise in employment law, she received a law degree from Columbia University School of Law and practiced as an attorney for several years. However, her genuine passion for HR, particularly in compensation and total rewards, led her back to the field where she has been happily focused ever since.
As a self-proclaimed “compensation nerd,” Carrie has had the privilege of working with dozens of organizations as a total rewards leader or consultant, helping them optimize their compensation and benefits strategies to drive employee satisfaction and business success. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of collaborating with executives and boards to design comprehensive total rewards programs, encompassing both broad-based and executive-focused initiatives.
Carrie currently lives in Denver, Colorado with her spouse and two energetic children. She works remotely from her home office with clients around the globe.
